Queen Elizabeth High School has celebrated the achievements of its highest-performing Year 9 and 10 students at an awards event held on Monday.
The students received awards recognising what the school described as their hard work and “outstanding success” over the year. The celebration was reported by Queen Elizabeth High School News on 16 July 2026.
Students praised for their achievements
Alice Morris delivered a speech during the event. The school thanked her for an inspirational contribution, saying it encouraged students to continue aiming high and make the most of every opportunity.
The evening also featured performances from the school’s Youth Theatre Group. Their performances were praised as a key part of an event that the school said was made memorable by the students’ achievements and the wider contribution from the school community.
Support for the awards
Queen Elizabeth High School also thanked Brunton Residential and its PTFA for providing support and contributing towards the prizes presented during the evening.
The school concluded its message by congratulating all its students on what it described as a fantastic year of achievement.
