Students from Queen Elizabeth High School have been recognised after taking part in a national biology competition.

Some of the school’s Year 12 A-level Biologists competed in the Intermediate Biology Olympiad in June. The UK-wide contest includes questions based on the school curriculum alongside questions designed to reward broader biological knowledge.

Awards for seven students

The competition attracted 15,113 students this year. Olive received a Highly Commended award, while Kaden, Jamie L, Ewelina and Imogen E were Commended.

Olivia C received a Silver award, and Beth R and Caitlyn received Bronze awards.

Queen Elizabeth High School congratulated all of the students who received awards.
