Students at Queen Elizabeth High School will turn their annual sixth-form charity day into a day of food, games and sport on Thursday 16 July, with money raised for Hexham-based charity Adapt.
What is planned
Year 13 students have organised their own stalls and activities. The programme will include a range of food and drink, games and sporting competitions.
Students in Years 9 and 10 will also take part during P3 and over lunchtime, giving younger pupils the chance to join the fundraising activities.
What students need to bring
The school has asked students to bring cash to spend on the day. Under the school’s house reward system, some students will also receive extra tokens, which can be used alongside the usual cash system.
The event is being held in support of Adapt, a charity based in Hexham. The school thanked families and students for their support.
