Clean heifers achieved up to 393.5p/kg at Hexham Auction Mart’s prime cattle sale on 8 September 2026, as the market recorded a firm trade for quality animals.
The top price was achieved twice by Charolais heifers. The mart’s report said the trade was “slightly sharper on the week” for the quality of cattle presented.
