Residents and visitors planning time at Hexham Abbey can now check a full August 2026 programme of Evening Prayer services, with 12 dates listed on the abbey’s online calendar.
The services are scheduled throughout the month rather than on a single fixed day each week. Most begin at 6.30pm and are listed as running for 30 minutes. Two services, on Tuesday 11 August and Tuesday 18 August, start earlier at 5pm.
