Hexham MP Joe Morris has pledged to raise residents’ concerns after a group of caravans occupied a football pitch at Tyne Green for more than a month.
The unauthorised encampment in the Hexham area prompted anger among local residents, who live close to the site. The caravans set up on the football pitch outside their homes during the summer.
