People in Hexham looking for reliable information about perimenopause and menopause will have the chance to hear directly from an experienced women’s health GP at a dedicated evening event.
An Evening with Dr Samantha English: Perimenopause & Menopause will take place at The Beaumont Hotel on Wednesday, November 4, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Doors open at 6.15pm.
What the Hexham event will cover
Hosted by Menopause Medical, the event will begin with a presentation from Dr Samantha English, followed by a live question-and-answer session. Attendees can also submit questions anonymously before the evening.
Dr English has more than 30 years’ experience in general practice and has completed advanced menopause training with the British Menopause Society. She is described as an experienced GP and women’s health specialist.
The event is intended to be supportive and informal, with information presented in a clear and accessible way. Menopause Medical founder Claire Turnbull said the aim was to help people navigate the large amount of information available and leave feeling more informed and confident about what to do next.

The evening is open to women at every stage of their menopause journey. That includes people who are just noticing changes, those already receiving treatment and anyone who wants to understand more. Partners, friends and family members are also welcome.
