Hexham Auction Mart reports sharper returns despite plainer prime-cattle show

Hexham Auction Mart reported that prime-cattle returns held firm at its sale on 15 September 2026, despite what it described as a much plainer show of clean cattle.

The Hexham and Northern Marts Livestock Sales Reports said the cattle met the same rates of return as the previous week, with prices possibly “a little sharper”.
